Working out promotes better blood flow and facilitates recovery. Just be careful while exercising to avoid displacing the healing bone. Arm and leg extensions are often recommended forms of physical activity. You can also try doing some towel stretches. Lifting heavy weights should be avoided. Your doctor can recommend more exercises that are both safe and effective.
